This morning we continue our series, “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by continuing with our new mini-series entitled, “Growing in Grace.” For the past three days we looked at the first three verses in Peter’s second letter. Let’s close out the week by taking a look at verse 4.

(Eph 5:25,25 NLT) For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.

(Ex 28:31-35 GNB) The robe that goes under the ephod is to be made entirely of blue wool. It is to have a hole for the head, and this hole is to be reinforced with a woven binding to keep it from tearing.

This morning we continue our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” I believe most people don’t think their words are all that important.

(Prov 26:11 GW) As a dog goes back to its vomit, so a fool repeats his stupidity. This morning we continue our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” Solomon is very good at painting pictures for us.

This morning we get back to our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” Back in chapter 16 Solomon said something very similar, saying: “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city” (v32).

(Prov 25:14 NLT) A person who promises a gift but doesn’t give it is like clouds and wind that bring no rain.

(Prov 23:27,28 NLT) A prostitute is a dangerous trap; a promiscuous woman is as dangerous as falling into a narrow well. She hides and waits like a robber, eager to make more men unfaithful.

(Prov 22:14 AMP) The mouth of a loose woman is a deep pit [for ensnaring wild animals]; he with whom the Lord is indignant and who is abhorrent to Him will fall into it.
