God’s Grace & Our Faith
The Law given under Moses vs. the Grace provided by Jesus
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained
like precious faith
with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
through
the knowledge of God
, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power
hath given
unto us
all things that pertain unto life and godliness
,
through the knowledge of him
that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be
partakers
of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
According as his divine power
hath given
unto us
all things that pertain unto life and godliness
,
through the knowledge of him
So what does this mean to you today?
You lack nothing
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him
already
every
predestined according to God’s plan
Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance.
Before we were even born
,
he gave us our destiny
; that we would fulfill
the plan of God
who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart
God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us
new people
so that we would
spend our lives doing the good things
he had
already planned
for us to do
then you must conclude that everything you need has already been provided
is if He already provided everything you need to do so!
through the knowledge of him
All things that pertain to life
He prepared for your arrival, and He then works with you to prepare you for what He prepared.
has already been prepared for you by God because He wants His plans to succeed.
This is why it is critically important that you make your life about God and not you!
The things you need for your selfish desires have NOT been stored up
through the knowledge of him
God never signed up to give you your selfish desires. He only signed up to manifest HIS PLANS!
Don’t forget to consider God’s timing
patience
discernment
All things that pertain to godliness
They are a matter of development
but these gifts must be developed
character
weight
My prayer for you is that you become so dedicated to the process that you endure whatever you need to endure, so you can become the man/woman you are destined to be, so God can leave a mark in this world through you that will not easily be erased!
