Laying The Foundation for 2026 (Part 5): How to Access the Private Thoughts of God for 2026

Today, we continue our focus on "THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY." 2026 is a season designed for you to walk in a divine awareness of what God is revealing about your life and your future.

"But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God."

Setting the Stage:

We have been looking at the fact that your destiny for 2026 is not something you "make up"; it is something you discover. Paul tells us that while the natural eye and ear are blind and deaf to the deep things of God, the Holy Spirit is the "Archive" (or, how I said it yesterday, the LLM) who searches them out. In verses 11 and 12, Paul gives us the "Why." He explains that just as your own spirit is the only one who truly knows your private thoughts, the Holy Spirit is the only one who knows the private thoughts of God. And here is the powerful truth that can change your life: God gave you His Spirit so that you could have access to His "private thoughts" concerning your life!

So, what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. The Holy Spirit is Your Connection to the Heart and Mind of God.

Verse 11 makes a powerful comparison. No one knows what you are thinking better than your own spirit. People can guess based on your face or your words, but only you truly know. In the same way, the world can guess about your future, but only the Holy Spirit knows the intentions and thoughts of the Father. When you walk with the Spirit, you aren't guessing anymore; you are operating with insider information.

How this applies to you:

—  You don't have to live your life based on "expert opinions" or market trends alone. Not when God has freely given you His Spirit to live on the inside of you.

— The Holy Spirit gives you access to the original blueprints God drew up for your life before time began. Which is why the Bible says, "It’s time for you to rediscover who you are from Heaven’s perspective." (Luke 10:20 Mirror Bible).

— When you are in your prayer closet, you aren't just talking to the ceiling; you are communicating with the only Person who knows God's private thoughts about your business and family. God has already been to your future, and the Holy Spirit is your direct connection to the Father, so He can reveal TO you what He planned FOR you.

— This connection allows you to bypass human logic and tap into divine intelligence. Without this connection, you are resigned to living your life as a mere man. To be clear, before the fall, Adam lived by revelation over education and instinct over intellect. Jesus redeemed us back to that life.

— You should never feel like an outsider in your own life. The people who aimlessly wander their way through life are trying to figure it out, when we have the Holy Spirit, who already knows the answers. We have been given the Ultimate Insider as your Guide.

— Discovery in 2026 is about the Spirit taking what is in God’s heart and depositing it into yours.

2. You Have Swapped the "World-Spirit" for the "God-Spirit."

Paul says we have NOT received the spirit of the world. The spirit of the world is limited, fearful, and performance-based. It tells you that you only get what you earn. But the Spirit from God is limitless and grace-based. To discover what 2026 holds, you must disconnect from worldly frequency so you can hear the "still small voice" of the One who knows the end from the beginning.

How this applies to you:

— The world’s spirit focuses on lack and limitation, but God’s Spirit focuses on abundance and revelation.

— You must stop trying to solve "God-sized" problems with a "world-sized" mindset.

— When the world says "recession," the Holy Spirit can reveal a "Kingdom-progression" that makes no sense to the natural mind. Remember, God does not have to make sense. He requires faith to believe, despite sense-realm evidence.

— Your 2026 discovery depends on whose report you prioritize: the news or the revelation the Holy Spirit is speaking. We are called and commanded to walk and live by faith, which means God expects us to LIVE off of what He is saying daily!

— The Spirit of God empowers you to see opportunities where the spirit of the world only sees obstacles. And then God requires you to believe them enough to pursue them by faith.

— You are not "of" this world’s system, so you shouldn't be limited by this world’s information.

— Make it a priority this year to protect your "spiritual ears" from the noise of worldly negativity so you can hear Heaven’s strategy.

3. Discovery Reveals What is "Freely Given" by Grace.

The "Game-Changer" is 1 Cor 2:12. The Holy Spirit doesn't just show you things to make you work harder; He reveals the things that have been freely given. This means your 2026 breakthrough is already bought and paid for! Discovery is the moment you find out that the "it" you've been looking for is already yours by grace.

How this applies to you:

— You aren't trying to talk God into giving you something; you are discovering what He already gave!

— Grace provided it in eternity, and the Holy Spirit unveils it in time so your faith can possess it.

— When you realize something is "freely given," the pressure to perform for it is completely removed. Your job is to believe!

— Your focus shifts from "How can I get this?" to "Father, I thank You that it's already done!" Now, how do you want me to lay hold of it, Father?

— The Spirit reveals the wealth of your inheritance, showing you that you are a joint-heir with Christ. This isn’t just about money; it is about the wealth of everything God stored up for you, so that you can make the impact you were born to make!

— Discovery is the "spiritual hunt" for the treasures God has pre-packaged for your success this year. The goal is to discover what God already planned so that you can experience His best in every area of your life. 

— You don't have to "qualify" for what has been freely given; you just have to be in the family and receive it by faith.

4. Knowing Leads to Living From the Inside Out With Confidence.

Part of the function of the Holy Spirit is to reveal God’s "profound realities" about you to you, so that you can know them with certainty. When you "know" something by the Spirit, it becomes your reality before it ever shows up in your bank account. In 2026, you will walk with a different level of confidence because you aren't wondering if God will move; you know what He has already done! God gave you His Spirit so you can KNOW!

How this applies to you:

— Spiritual "knowing" is deeper than intellectual "learning"; it is a conviction that cannot be shaken. In the country, I've heard people say, "I know it down in my knower." That may not be good English, but it does make good sense in God's kingdom. 

— Remember, faith is not about you convincing God. Faith is what happens to you when God convinces you. So when you get fully persuaded of what God has said to you about you for this season, and you know it with certainty, then you will not be moved by anything that you see with your natural eyes. 

— You can walk into a boardroom or a hospital room with peace because you already know the thoughts of God concerning the outcome.

— Living from the "inside out" means the revelation on the inside dictates your response to the situation on the outside. In other words, your internal state is not determined or dependent on external circumstances, and actually is the other way around. You are so convinced on the inside that you know how to respond to what's happening on the outside to the point where you will eventually change the outward manifestation because of your inward revelations. 

— Your discovery of God’s thoughts will make you the most stable person in the room when things get shaky.

— Your 2026 will be defined by the manifestation of everything the Holy Spirit makes "known" to your heart today. My prayer for you is that 2026 becomes the best year of your life, not because you are good, but because God is good, and you have finally gotten to the point where you will yield to the Holy Spirit in earnest, and God's best will be manifested in your life on a daily basis.

Father, I thank You that I have a Spirit-to-spirit connection with You!

I declare that I am not limited to the spirit of this world or the logic of man!

I have received the Spirit who is from God, and I have access to Your innermost thoughts!

I refuse to be moved by what I see or hear in the natural; I am moved by what the Spirit makes known to me!

I declare that my breakthrough is already done, my provision is already provided, and my victory is already secured!

I walk with divine intelligence, hearing the strategies and secrets of Heaven for my industry and my family!

I am living from the inside out, fueled by the revelation of what has been freely given to me by grace!

I am walking in my inheritance, and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!
