Today, we continue our focus on "THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY." 2026 is a season designed for you to walk in a divine awareness of what God is revealing about your life and your future.

Key scriptures for this year:

(2 Peter 3:18 GNT)

“But continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be glory now and forever.”

(Luke 10:20 Mirror)

“It’s time for you to rediscover who you are from Heaven’s perspective.”

(1 John 3:10 Mirror)

“There is a very visible and vast difference between living one’s life from your God identity or from a fallen mindset.”

(Proverbs 25:2 NLT)

“It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.”

(Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

(2 Peter 1:3 NKJV)

"As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue."

Scripture we will study today:

(1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV)

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Supporting scriptures:

(Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

"Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every seeker will discover the answer, and every knocker will have the door opened."

(Psalm 27:8 TPT)

"Lord, when you said to me, 'Seek my face,' my inner being responded, 'I’m seeking your face with my whole heart!'"

(Ephesians 1:17-18 TPT)

"I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritance that he finds in us, his holy ones!"

Setting the Stage:

In Part 1, we learned that we are entering a Year of Discovery. In Part 2, we discovered that we arepositioned to search out what God has concealed. Today, I want to talk to you about the expectation of the seeker. We must have an expectation of discovery. We must believe that God will speak to us and reveal things to us about our future.

Jeremiah 29:13 makes it clear that finding God (and by extension, finding the destiny He has for you) is tied to the condition of your heart. God is not playing "hide and seek" to keep things from you; He is inviting you into a process that matures you as you search for Him. When you live with an expectation of discovery, you wake up every morning knowing that the Holy Spirit is ready to reveal a new layer of your divine assignment.

So, what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. Discovery Requires Wholehearted Desire and Pursuit.

God is looking for those who are hungry for revelation. In Jeremiah 29:13, the promise of "finding" is reserved for those who seek with their whole heart. This means your search cannot be a side hobby or something you do when you are distracted. It must be the priority of your life.  if you know that God put you on this planet for such a time as this, then you must prioritize hearing from him concerning his plans for your life

How this applies to you:

You will never discover the depth of your destiny if you only seek God when you are in trouble.  Unfortunately, this is what a good portion of Christians do.?

A "whole heart" means you are all in, holding nothing back from God or the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

When you prioritize the search, God prioritizes the unveiling of His secrets to you, but you must also be committed to DOING what He reveals.

(John 14:21 TPT)

"Those who truly love me are those who obey my commands. Whoever passionately loves me will be passionately loved by my Father. And I will passionately love him in return and will reveal myself to him."

Revelation and obedience are connected; Jesus said He would reveal Himself to those who love Him and keep His commands—so if you're asking God to speak but you're not committed to doing what He says, why would He show you more?

Your level of discovery in 2026 will be directly proportional to your level of desire and obedience.

This year, resolve to be a passionate seeker who refuses to settle for surface-level religion. You must be a child of God who is committed to receiving from God and then to obeying everything that He leads you to do.

2. Expectation is the Magnet for Revelation.

Faith requires expectation. If you are not expecting to discover something new today, you likely won't. But when you wake up with the expectation of an heir, you create a spiritual atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can speak.

How this applies to you:

— Expectation keeps your spiritual ears open to hear the "still small voice" of internal guidance.

— If you expect to find answers in the Word, the Holy Spirit will illuminate the text specifically for you.

— Living with expectation means you are looking for God in your meetings, your family, and your business.  You train yourself to spend your day keenly aware that God is in you and constantly speaking, so you expect to receive from Him.

— You are an heir of Abraham, so you should expect to see the blessing of Abraham manifest in every area. You are also in Christ. Therefore, you expect to see the blessing of Jesus manifest in your life as well.

— Don't let the noise of the world drown out your expectation of divine revelation.

— Your expectation is the activation switch for the grace that has already provided for your future.

— Tell yourself every morning: "God is always speaking, and he will speak to me today!"

3. The Holy Spirit is Your Guide into the Unknown.

Jesus promised that the Spirit of Truth would guide you into all truth and tell you about the future. You don't have to fear the unknown of 2026 because the One who knows it all lives inside of you, and He has already been to the end of 2026!

How this applies to you:

— The Holy Spirit is not just your helper; He is your divine Scout who has already seen your future.

— He will reveal things to you that your natural mind could never figure out on its own.

— As you walk with Him, He will give you personalized assignments that aren't on any generic list. When you hear what God is saying, and you either write it down or respond to that moment, it may not seem like that big of a deal to you. But looking back, you will realize that God was revealing the future to you in that moment.

— Remember what we learned last year in the book of Galatians: you are no longer under a "guardian" of rules; you are under the leadership of the Spirit.  in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, the Apostle Paul made it clear that God gave us his Spirit sothat we can know the things that are freely given from God.

— You must learn to trust the internal "witness" more than the external circumstances you see with your eyes.

— Part of the role of the Holy Spirit is to take the things of God and make them known to you.

— In this Year of Discovery, the Holy Spirit is the Bridge between your current reality and your divine destiny.

4. Persistent Knocking Opens Preordained Doors.

Matthew 7:7-8 teaches us about persistence. Some discoveries are found on the first day, but others require you to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. Your persistence proves that you value what God is about to reveal.

How this applies to you:

— Don't get discouraged if a door doesn't open the first time you knock; your persistence is part of your training.

— God has already preordained specific doors for you; you just have to discover which ones they are.  Remember, you are not making your own way. You are discovering the way God planned.

— When you are led by the Spirit, you don't have to kick doors down; they will open by grace.

— Your persistence shows God that you are ready to handle the weight of the revelation because you refuse to give up until He speaks to you.

— This year, the "knock" of your faith will grant you access to rooms you weren't qualified for in the natural.  In other words, in this season, when the Father leads you to ask for something that you are clearly not qualified for, then you must muster up the faith to do so, because the fact that He's leading you to ask for it is evidence that He's already given you the grace for it.

— Once a door of discovery is opened, no man can shut it, because it was opened by the Father. And while you may not feel qualified to walk through that door, the grace of God is on you to do what you could never do without God. As you walk through that door by faith, you will experience the life God planned.

That's enough for today.

I refuse to be passive; I am actively pursuing the life You prepared for me before the world began!

I declare that my spiritual eyes are illuminated to see the hope of my calling!

The Holy Spirit reveals things to me about my future that my natural mind cannot comprehend, and I have the faith to pursue and receive them in this season.

I am persistent in my faith, knowing that every door You have preordained for me will be opened!
