Today, we continue our focus on “THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY,” as we learn to maintain our confidence in what God has revealed to us.

Key scriptures for this year:

2 Peter 3:18 GNT

“But continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be glory now and forever.”

Luke 10:20 Mirror

“It’s time for you to rediscover who you are from Heaven’s perspective.”

1 John 3:10 Mirror

“There is a very visible and vast difference between living one’s life from your God identity or from a fallen man’s mindset.”

Proverbs 25:2 NKJV

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”

Jeremiah 29:13 NIV

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Scripture we will study today:

Hebrews 10:35-36 TPT

“So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the patience of endurance to carry out the will of God and receive all he has promised.”

Numbers 23:19 ERV

“God is not a man. He will not lie. God is not a human being. He does not change his mind. If he says he will do something, then he will do it. If he makes a promise, he will make it happen.”

Setting the Stage:

In our Year of Discovery, God is going to pull back the curtain and expose things about your future that will do two things: 1) There will be so far out there that they will exceed that they may exceed your current mental self-image, and 2) If you are able to muster up the faith to believe them, you will be positioned to experience God’s best.

What is God doing when He reveals your future to you? He is showing you what He has already prepared for you by His grace. When that happens, your initial response is often one of holy excitement and bold confidence. The confidence aspect is important because faith comes down to confidence. And I’ve been teaching you for a while that true faith is really your level of confidence in God and God’s ability to perform what he is promising you. That being the case, you must understand that discovery (or revelation) is usually followed by a challenge. The devil is going to try everything in his power to get you to lose your confidence and walk away from what God revealed.

Growing in grace means you are growing in your confidence in Him. It means you have reached the point where you trust what God said more than what you see. If God said it, it’s a done deal! Your job is to enter into God’s rest and stay there. I’ve told you before: the highest form of faith is rest. When you are resting, you are proving that your confidence is in God’s grace and not your own effort. Don’t let the “space between” the promise and the performance cause you to take on care, fear, doubt, worry, or unbelief.

So, what does this mean for you today? A few things.

1. Discovery Requires Divine Confidence.

When God reveals a part of your destiny, He is NOT showing you something you can do on your own. He is revealing what HE is going to do through you. Therefore, your confidence cannot be based on your education, your background, or your bank account. Your confidence must be rooted in the fact that God is the one who spoke it, and He is the one who will perform it.

If your confidence is in yourself, you will waver when the pressure gets intense. But if your confidence is in God’s grace, you will remain steady. True discovery in 2026 isn’t just about finding out “what” God wants to do; it’s about finding out how “certain” He is to do it. You must be fully persuaded that what He promised, He is also able to perform!

How this applies to you:

— Stop measuring the size of the assignment against the size of your ability; the grace of God is the X-factor. God knows that you cannot do what He’s leading you to do without him, but the good news is that He does not expect you to do it. He has provided you with the grace, and this grace is His power.

— I have told you many times that every promise from God comes with a timing component, and everything is going to happen at just the right time, but it will not happen before the right time. Therefore, the level of your confidence in God determines your ability to endure during the “waiting season.”

— When God gives you a Word, He is giving you an anchor for your soul that should keep you from drifting. If you feel yourself drifting, go back and meditate on what God said, and the Holy Spirit will help you recalibrate and course-correct.

— Growing in grace is synonymous with growing in your conviction that God cannot lie.

— You are called to be bold and courageous, not because you are great, but because your God is!

— Confidence in God allows you to speak the “language of faith” even when the circumstances look contrary. The only way to do this consistently is if your confidence is in God, and not in you. Because you are not that good, and you are not that strong.

— What it comes down to is this: If you know who is backing you, you won’t be intimidated by who is blocking you!

2. The Devil’s Goal is to Erode Your Confidence.

The moment God speaks a Word to you, satan is already plotting a way to snatch it. He knows he can’t stop God, and he can’t stop the Word, so he tries to stop YOU by getting you to cast away your confidence. He uses doubt, fear, and the “cares of this world” to get you to second-guess what you discovered.

He wants you to start asking, “Did God really say that?” or “How is this ever going to happen?” If the devil can get you into the “How,” he can get you into worry. And if he gets you into worry, you have stepped out of faith.

How this applies to you:

— Recognize that opposition is often a sign that you are standing on a powerful revelation. Satan does not care about you. The attack is against the assignment.

— Doubt is a thief; don’t give it a seat at the table of your heart. If you entertain doubt, it will only be a matter of time before you worry and then cross over into fear.

— When fear knocks at the door, send your confidence in God’s Word to answer it.

— The devil targets your mind because that is where your confidence is either maintained or lost. The battle is happening in your soul.

— You must intentionally “starve your doubts” by continually feeding your faith with what God said. The more you go back to what God said, the more peace you will have in your heart, and the more patience you will develop for the long haul.

— Here’s a big one: Don’t seek validation for your discovery from people who aren’t walking in the Spirit. If you ask the wrong people for confirmation, not only will you not get confirmation, but you’re going to get contrary information that would actually attack your confidence. This is why you have to surround yourself with people of like-precious-faith.

— Your job is to stay “locked-in” on the vision, regardless of the noise from the enemy or from this world.

3. Rest is the Evidence of Absolute Confidence.

You aren’t truly in faith if you are stressed out. When you have absolute confidence in God, you enter into Faith-Rest. This doesn’t mean you stop working; it means you stop toiling and striving. You are working, but you are doing so from a position of rest because you know the outcome is already decided in Heaven. As I always say: It’s already done!

Growing in grace means you are getting better at resting. You’ve learned that your stressing doesn’t move God, but your resting (your faith) does! In this Year of Discovery, let your rest be your greatest testimony.

How this applies to you:

— You are authorized to tell your soul to “be quiet” when it tries to over-analyze the “How” of your assignment. I was just talking to a young person yesterday who acknowledged that one of her greatest challenges is that she overthinks things. If you keep thinking about something, you’re going to think your way out of faith. Since God will tell you to do things that don’t make sense, you can’t overthink it. You have to believe.

— Resting while you work allows the Holy Spirit to be the Lead Actor in your life’s story. You want Him to take the lead, and you want your life to be all about him.

— If you are losing sleep over a promise, you haven’t fully transitioned from self-effort to relying on God and his grace.

— Rest is a spiritual weapon that confuses the enemy; he doesn’t know what to do with a believer who won’t panic.

— Your confidence in God’s timing is what makes your rest sustainable. You are able to endure for the long haul while you’re resting.

— Make “It’s already done!” your default response to every thought of lack or delay.

— Authentic rest attracts the manifestation of the very thing you are resting in. When God sees that you are in faith, that you don’t have any doubts, and that you’re not trying to make it happen, then there’s nothing blocking Him from making it happen for you at just the right time.

4. Growing in Grace is Growing in Certainty.

Hebrews 11:1 teaches us that faith is all about being sure and certain that God will do what He said He would do. As you grow in the knowledge of Jesus, your “certainty-meter” should be going up. You’ve seen Him come through before, and you know He will do it again. Growing in grace is the process of moving from “I hope so” to “I know so!“

This Year of Discovery is going to require a “lost” heart. You can’t pursue God-sized dreams with a “lost” mindset.

How this applies to you:

— Your past victories are “receipts” of God’s faithfulness that should fuel your current confidence. You need to develop altars of remembrance in your heart so that you can go back and remember what God has done.

— Grow to the point where you are unphased and unbothered by the “facts” because you are focused on the Truth.

— The more you know God, the less you have to “try” to believe; it becomes your natural state.

— 2026 requires you to be a “king” who searches out a matter with the confidence that God wants it found! This is something that Solomon said in Proverbs 25:2, and we can learn from it. There are some things that are concealed, but when you seek them out, God will reveal them to you. Once God reveals it, then it’s on you to operate in faith to see the manifestation of it.

— Never allow the “delay” to be mistaken for “denial.” If God said it, it has to come to pass. He cannot lie.

— Enter this day with a settled heart that is at REST, knowing your future is already secured by the One who loves you most.

That’s enough for today.

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I thank You that my confidence is rooted and grounded in Your unchanging Word!

I declare that I will not cast away my confidence, for it has a great recompense of reward!

I refuse to rely on my own ability; I anchor my soul in Your limitless grace and Your perfect track record!

When You reveal my future to me, I receive it with a “Yes” and an “Amen,” knowing that it is already done in the Spirit!

I reject every thought of fear, doubt, and unbelief that the enemy tries to sow into my heart!

I choose to enter into Your rest, working from a position of victory and not for victory!

My heart is settled, my mind is stayed on You, and I refuse to be moved by what I see in the natural!

I am growing in grace daily, which means I am growing in my absolute certainty that You will do exactly what You said!

I am living #TheGraceLife, my confidence is in my Father, and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
