Today, we continue our focus on “THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY,” and we are embarking on a journey of growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Key scriptures for this year:
(2 Peter 3:18 GNT)
“But continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be glory now and forever.”
(Luke 10:20 Mirror)
“It’s time for you to rediscover who you are from Heaven’s perspective.”
(1 John 3:10 Mirror)
“There is a very visible and vast difference between living one’s life from your God identity or from a fallen man’s mindset.”
(Proverbs 25:2 NKJV)
“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”
(Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Scriptures we will study today:
(John 15:7 TPT)
“But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live in you, then every prayer you make will be answered for you.”
(John 15:7 ERV)
“If you remain in me and follow my teachings, you can ask anything you want, and it will be given to you.”
(Amos 3:3 NIV)
“Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?”
Setting the Stage:
Yesterday, we established that revelation requires the courage to go. Today, I want to take that a step further. It’s not just about movement; it’s about alignment. In the Kingdom of God, your discoveries are directly tied to your agreement with the Father. Amos 3:3 asks a penetrating question: “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?”
To truly discover God’s best in 2026, you must reach a point where your will is swallowed up in His will. I have often taught that when you abide in the Word, and the Word abides in you, you reach a state of divine synchronization. Jesus promised in John 15:7 that if you remain in Him and His words remain in you, you can ask for whatever you want and it will be done. This isn’t a blank check for selfish desires; it’s an invitation to a life where your “want” has been transformed by God, His Word, and His will. When your mind is renewed, your desires change. At that point, God can trust you with a “Yes” to whatever you ask because He knows you only want what He already planned for you!
So, what does this mean for you today? A few things.
1. Discovery Begins with Knowing the God of the Word.
The first step in this Year of Discovery is not looking for an opportunity, but looking at the author of all opportunities. You must get to know God, and one of the greatest ways is through His Word!
God’s Word is the will of God on paper, but it is also much more. The Word contains the character, attributes, and nature of God. Pastor Tony Brazelton often says, “God’s method for everything is His Word.” You cannot separate God from His Word. The more you study the Word of God, the better you will get to know the God of the Word. Through the Word, His Spirit reveals the plans He made for you before the world began.
How this applies to you:
— Discovering God’s plan for your life starts with intimate fellowship with the Word of God.
— You cannot truly discover what God has for you if you are not familiar with His character. The Word of God contains the character, attributes, and nature of God.
— The Word gives you an image of God’s best, and as you behold it, you are changed into that same image.
— When you understand His attributes, you develop the confidence to trust Him in the unknown.
— Knowing God’s nature removes the fear of the future because you know He is a good Father, He made good plans for you, and His mercy endures forever.
— As you marinate in the Word, your spirit becomes a receiver for divine downloads concerning your assignment because you learn to tune your heart to receive on God’s frequency. How are you learning God’s frequency? You are learning it through His Word.
— You don’t just read for information; you read for transformation so you can think like the Father. The more your mind is transformed, and you are learning to think like him, the more apt you will be to hear His voice when He’s speaking.
2. Knowing the Word is the Key to Hearing His Voice.
Many people ask me about hearing the voice of God. One of the most critical aspects of hearing God is knowing His Word. The Holy Spirit will never lead you contrary to the Word of God. Therefore, the Word serves as the ruler and filter for every “download” you receive. If you are not acquainted with what God HAS SAID, you will have a difficult time discerning what He IS SAYING.
How this applies to you:
— To hear God clearly, it is best if you first saturate your heart with His written Word.
— The Holy Spirit uses the Word stored in your heart to provide a witness in your spirit. When you receive a thought or impression you believe came from God, the Spirit confirms it by lining it up with the Word already deposited inside you. The Word becomes your ruler and filter; it’s how you can say with confidence, “Yes, this is God, because it aligns with what He has already said.” But if you haven’t stored the Word in your heart, you have no ruler to measure by and no filter to discern through. You can’t confirm what God IS SAYING if you don’t know what He HAS SAID.
— In this way, knowing the Word protects you from being led astray by voices that do not come from the Father.
— As you learn the “language” of the Word, you become more sensitive to the divine impulses of the Spirit.
— Your ability to receive Rhema (a specific spoken word) is built on your foundation of Logos (the written Word).
— When you know the God of the Word, you can recognize His voice and tone in any situation.
— In this Year of Discovery, prioritize listening through the lens of the scriptures you have studied.
3. Agreement is the Gateway to Walking with God.
Amos 3:3 makes it clear that walking together requires agreement. Discovery provides the information, but alignment provides the application. You can discover God’s will and still be out of step because you haven’t agreed with it yet! Alignment means you’ve decided that God’s opinion is the only one that matters in your life.
How this applies to you:
— You cannot experience the fullness of the showing if you are still debating the terms of the going. I have already made this point several times, but once again, obedience is the key to continued revelation.
— Alignment is what happens when you say “Yes” to a revelation you received from God, and to be clear, most of the time, it will require faith, because what God revealed will not make natural sense yet.
— Discovery reveals to you where the treasure is (where God is leading); agreement gives you the courage to go and dig for it.
— Walking with God means you’ve surrendered your life to Him. This includes your schedule, which is what you will do with your life, and your strategies, which is how you will go about it. When you truly walk with God, your entire life becomes dedicated to what you believe He is leading you to do. And this type of surrendered life is fueled, informed, and sustained by the written Word of God. The Word gives you the vision for what to pursue and the wisdom for how to pursue it.
— In #TheGraceLife, agreement is the bridge between the promise in your heart and the manifestation in your hand.
— When you are in total agreement, you rest while you work because you know you are in step with the God.
4. Authorization Through Synchronization.
Once you abide and align to the point where your will is synchronized with God’s, you are authorized to ask for “whatever you want.” Why? Because you won’t want anything that isn’t already yours by grace! At this level of synchronization, your prayers are no longer about trying to get God to move; they are about agreeing with how He has already moved in eternity! When God persuades you to align with His plans, your “AMEN” connects with His “YES”.
How this applies to you:
— God can trust you with a “Yes” to every prayer when He knows you only want what He already planned.
— Answered prayer is the fruit of a heart that has reached synchronization with Heaven’s frequency.
— You stop begging for breakthroughs and start making declarations based on what you have discovered in His heart.
— True faith is graduating to the point where you only want what grace has already provided. You know that where there is no grace, there can be no faith, because faith begins where the will of God is known.
— In 2026, expect your voice to carry weight in the spirit realm because you are speaking from alignment.
— Authorization comes when you stop striving for your own way and start resting in His.
— Enter this day knowing that because you are in step with Him, GREATER IS COMING FOR YOU!
That’s enough for today.
Declaration of Faith:
Father, I thank You for the power of divine synchronization!
I declare that I abide in You, and Your Word makes its home in me every single day!
I am not just a visitor to the Word; I am getting to know the God of the Word through His character and nature!
I acknowledge that Your Word is Your method for everything, and I prioritize it above all else!
I choose to agree with everything You reveal to my spirit concerning my future and my purpose!
I refuse to argue with the Commander; my “Yes” is on the table before the instruction is even given!
My mind is being renewed, and my will is being swallowed up in Your good, pleasing, and perfect will!
Because I am in alignment with You, I walk with fearless confidence and supernatural authority!
I am authorized to ask for whatever I want because my “want” has been synchronized with Your Word!
I am living #TheGraceLife in 2026, I am in lockstep with the Holy Spirit, and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!
I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
