Today, we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.

As part of this series, I am teaching a verse-by-verse exposition of the book of Galatians.

Key scriptures for this year:

(2 Corinthians 9:8 TPT)

"Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do."

(Galatians 5:4 TPT)

"If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!"

(Romans 6:14 ERV)

"Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God's grace."

(1 Corinthians 15:10 CEV)

"But God treated me with undeserved grace! He made me what I am, and his grace wasn't wasted. I worked much harder than any of the other apostles, although it was really God's grace at work and not me."

Scripture we will study today:

(Galatians 3:15 TPT)

“Loved ones, let me give you an example taken from everyday life. When two people enter into a covenant with each other, they sign a contract and no one can alter it, ignore it, or add conditions to it.”

Supporting scriptures:

(Hebrews 6:17-18 TPT)

“So God added his vow to his promise. Since he could find no one greater than himself, he swore an oath on his own integrity to keep the promise to Abraham’s descendants. So when God wanted to end all doubt and confirm it even more forcibly to those who would inherit his promises, he added his vow to the promise. So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change!”

(Hebrews 10:23 NLT)

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”

(Romans 4:20-21 TPT)

“He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!”

(Galatians 3:14 TPT)

“Jesus, our Messiah, was cursed in our place and in so doing, dissolved the curse from our lives, so that through him all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon gentiles. And now through faith we receive the promised Holy Spirit who lives in us.”

Setting the Stage:

Over the past few days, we’ve been exploring one of the most powerful revelations in all of Scripture. Paul has been making it clear that God made a covenant promise to Abraham, and then He ratified it with an oath (a vow). This is a covenant that CANNOT be changed! In Galatians 3:15, Paul uses an everyday example to drive this point home. When two people enter into a contract, once it’s signed, no one can alter it, ignore it, or add conditions to it!

This is HUGE! God entered into a covenant with Abraham, promising to bless him and his descendants. Then, through Christ, we Gentiles have been grafted into that blessing! We get to receive what God promised Abraham! But here’s what many believers miss: since the covenant is ratified and sealed, NO ONE can add conditions to it! No religious leader, no denomination, no tradition, and no law can add requirements to what God has FREELY given us by grace!

The Jews couldn’t add the Law to it 430 years later. Religious people today can’t add performance requirements to it. It’s a done deal! God swore by Himself, backed it with His oath, and the blessing is YOURS through Christ! And because no one can alter, ignore, or add conditions to God’s covenant, you can live with UNSHAKABLE confidence!

So, what does this mean for you today? A few things.

1. God’s Covenant Is Legally Binding and Cannot Be Changed.

Paul uses a legal illustration everyone can understand. When a contract is signed, it becomes binding. No third party can come along and add new terms. Further, a third party has nothing to do with the agreement that was ratified by two entities. The same is true with God’s covenant! Once God ratified His promise to Abraham with a vow, it became unchangeable, unbreakable, and completely secure! No one can come in now, as a third party, and add anything to it. Rules were not part of the promise or the vow then, nor are they now!

How this applies to you:

No religious system can add performance requirements to what God freely gave by grace! The covenant was sealed before the Law was given. The Law came 430 years AFTER God’s promise to Abraham. Religious people may try to make you jump through hoops, but God’s covenant doesn’t require their approval or their additions!

— Your access to the blessing of Abraham is through Christ, not through keeping religious rules! Galatians 3:14 makes it crystal clear: through Christ, all the blessings of Abraham are poured out upon Gentiles! You’re not trying to earn what’s already yours. You’re receiving what Jesus already secured for you! You get to receive it and enjoy it!

— When people try to make you feel condemned or add conditions to your salvation, remind yourself: the covenant is sealed! God didn’t leave loopholes for religious manipulators to exploit. He made the covenant as an airtight agreement, backed it with His oath, and no one has the authority to add conditions to what God made unconditional!

— This means you can rest in what God has done instead of striving to prove yourself! The pressure is OFF! You’re not qualifying for the blessing; you’re walking IN the blessing! You’re not earning God’s favor; you’re enjoying His favor! The covenant is complete, and you’re included through Christ!

Every blessing God promised Abraham is now yours through faith in Jesus! This isn’t theory; this is covenant reality! What was included in the promise to Abraham? Prosperity, protection, provision, peace, purpose: all of it flows to you through the unchangeable covenant God made with Abraham and fulfilled through Christ!

The enemy can’t cancel what God has covenanted! Satan may try to convince you that you’ve disqualified yourself (he tries that all the time). He may whisper that you’re not good enough. But the covenant isn’t based on YOUR performance; it’s based on God’s PROMISE! And since no one can alter or add conditions to God’s covenant, the devil’s accusations are powerless! He is the accuser of the brethren (Rev 12:10), but the case he builds against us falls on deaf ears before God, because God already decided to bless us!

— You can face every day knowing that what God promised Abraham is guaranteed to you through Christ! This isn’t a maybe. This isn’t a hope-so. This is a KNOW-SO! God swore by Himself, and His covenant stands forever! Meditate on this truth, because it will give you confidence, and living by faith requires confidence in God!

2. You Can Hold On Without Wavering Because the Covenant Cannot Be Altered.

Hebrews 10:23 tells us to “hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” The reason you can hold on without wavering is that the covenant cannot be altered! God made a promise, backed it with an oath, and it’s impossible for God to lie!

How this applies to you:

— Your confidence isn’t based on your ability to hold on; it’s based on God’s inability to lie! You’re not trusting in your grip; you’re trusting in God’s grip on your life! The covenant stands firm whether you feel strong or weak, whether you’re having a good day or a bad day! In other words, God’s commitment to you does not fluctuate based on your feelings.

— “Holding tightly” means you refuse to let go of what God has promised, even when circumstances contradict the covenant! Problems will come. Challenges will arise (like the government shutdown). Situations will look impossible (some may be facing situations like this today). But you HOLD ON because the covenant is MORE REAL than what you’re experiencing in the natural! God has committed Himself to be with you every step of the way!

— “Without wavering” means you’re not double-minded! James says the one who doubts is like a wave tossed by the sea. But when you understand God’s oath, you become UNMOVABLE! Circumstances may swirl around you, but you stand FIRM on God’s Word! You’re not tossed back and forth; you’re anchored in God’s certainty!

— When people try to add conditions to God’s promise, you can say with confidence: “That’s not in the covenant!” If God didn’t include it in His promise to Abraham, and it’s not fulfilled through Christ, then it’s not part of YOUR covenant! Don’t let anyone add burdens God never intended you to carry! That’s not in the contract!

— This unshakable confidence changes how you pray! You’re not begging God to do something He’s reluctant to do. You don’t have to convince Him to WANT TO bless you. You’re declaring what He’s already committed to do! When you understand this, your prayers become bold declarations of covenant reality rather than desperate pleas for God to change His mind about you!

— You can wake up every morning and declare: “The blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ, and no one can take it away!” This daily affirmation repositions your mind to receive what God has already provided. It silences doubt and amplifies faith!

— Every attack against you is an attack against a covenant God has sworn to keep! When the enemy comes against you, he’s not just fighting you; he’s fighting God’s oath! And since God will never break His word, you can rest assured that every promise WILL come to pass!

3. You Can Be Mighty in Faith Like Abraham Because You Stand on the Same Unalterable Covenant.

Romans 4:20-21 reveals Abraham’s secret: he was “strong in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises.” Abraham “never stopped believing God’s promise.” Why? Because Abraham understood that when God makes a covenant promise, it CANNOT be changed!

How this applies to you:

— Abraham didn’t just believe God COULD do it; he was convinced God WOULD do it! There’s a massive difference! Many believers acknowledge God’s ability but doubt His intention. But when you understand the covenant, you move from “God can” to “God WILL!” The covenant removes all doubt about God’s intentions!

— Abraham was “strong in faith” because he knew God’s character made the promise unbreakable! It wasn’t Abraham’s strong faith that made him mighty. It was his understanding of God’s unchangeable nature! When you know God CANNOT lie and His covenant CANNOT be altered, your faith becomes STRONG and MIGHTY!

— Abraham “glorified God” by believing the promise before seeing the fulfillment! Here is a key point: Abraham did not wait until Isaac was born to praise God. He praised God WHILE he was waiting! He glorified God DURING the process, not just at the outcome! Your praise in the waiting period is part of your faith in action! By faith, you can give God PRE-PERFORMANCE PRAISE! Anyone, even heathens, can give God POST-PERFORMANCE PRAISE!

You have MORE than Abraham had! Abraham had God’s promise and the OATH. But you have the promise, the oath, and the Holy Spirit. You have God’s Spirit living down inside of you. The Holy Spirit brings His presence to you, His power through you, and His purpose for you! If Abraham could be strong in faith with what he had, how much mightier should YOU be with the complete package: the promise, the oath, AND the indwelling of the Holy Spirit!

— Being “convinced” means you’ve settled it in your heart once and for all! You’re not hoping it might work out. You’re not wishing for things to get better. You’re CONVINCED! You are FULLY PERSUADED that what God promised, God will perform! This settled conviction produces unwavering confidence!

Your conviction determines your consistency! Abraham believed for 25 years before Isaac was born. What kept him going? CONVICTION! He was absolutely convinced that the covenant could not be broken. When you’re convinced, time doesn’t diminish your faith; it strengthens your expectation!

The only way you can lose is if you quit! If Abraham had given up on God at the 20-year mark, or the 23-year mark, or even the 24-year mark, he would have missed out on God’s best. To be clear, at the 24-year mark, outsiders looking in could have said that Abraham and Sarah FAILED at having that baby. But the only way to LOCK-IN failure is by giving up on God. If you keep going, it is only a matter of time before you SEE what God SAID!

4. You Can Live Every Day From a Position of Being “Fully Persuaded!

When you truly understand that God’s covenant cannot be altered, ignored, or have conditions added to it, you live differently! You pray differently! You face challenges differently! Why? Because you are fully persuaded. Not because you are good, but because God is good!

How this applies to you:

— Here is something I ask you to declare over what God has said about your life all the time: “It’s already done!” Not because you see it with your natural eyes, but because God’s covenant has already guaranteed it!

Every day you wake up is another day of walking IN the blessing of Abraham! You’re not trying to GET blessed; you’re already blessed! You’re not hoping to BECOME prosperous; you’re accessing the prosperity that’s already yours through covenant! Please stop begging for what’s already been given! Open your heart to receive all that Jesus died to provide you.

— Earlier this year, I taught a 16-part series (you can find it on YouTube; here is the link: https://bit.ly/HowToPrayFromGrace) on how to pray from a position of grace. I taught you to pray from a position of covenant authority rather than from a position of need! You’re not asking God IF He will bless you. You’re thanking Him that the blessing of Abraham is already yours through Christ! Your prayers become declarations of covenant reality!

Your vocabulary changes when you understand that the covenant cannot be changed! You stop saying, “I hope God will…” and start saying, “God has already…” You stop saying, “Maybe if I’m good enough…” and start saying, “Because Christ made me righteous, the blessing is mine!

— When you get an understanding of this revelation, it makes you DANGEROUS to the kingdom of darkness! The devil can intimidate someone who’s unsure of their standing with God. But he CANNOT defeat someone who knows they stand on an immutable covenant!

— When you live this way, you become a source of hope and encouragement to others! When people see your unshakable confidence in God’s covenant promises, they want what you have! Your peace in the storm, your joy in the battle, your assurance in uncertainty becomes a testimony that draws others to the same covenant! This is a message God wants His children to receive in this season. People need to see you at peace and prospering, even in the middle of furloughs and shutdowns. SAY AMENT TO THAT!

That's enough for today.

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I thank You that Your covenant with Abraham cannot be altered, ignored, or have conditions added to it!

Through Christ, THE Blessing of Abraham has been poured out upon me!

No religious system, no tradition, and no person has the authority to add conditions to what You made unconditional!

Like Abraham, I am strong in faith and fully persuaded that You have all the power needed to fulfill Your promises!

I glorify You by believing Your covenant is true before I see the manifestation of it!

I pray from a position of covenant authority, not from a position of need!

The enemy cannot defeat me because I stand on a covenant that cannot be broken!

I am not trying to GET blessed; I am walking IN the blessing every day!

I face today with absolute confidence because Your vow stands forever!

I am Living the Grace Life and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
