Today, we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.
As part of this series, I am teaching a verse-by-verse exposition of the book of Galatians.
Key scriptures for this year:
(2 Corinthians 9:8 TPT)
"Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do."
(Galatians 5:4 TPT)
"If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!"
(Romans 6:14 ERV)
"Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God's grace."
(1 Corinthians 15:10 CEV)
"But God treated me with undeserved grace! He made me what I am, and his grace wasn't wasted. I worked much harder than any of the other apostles, although it was really God's grace at work and not me."
Scripture we will study today:
(Galatians 3:14 NIV)
“He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”
(Galatians 3:14 TPT)
“Jesus, our Messiah, was cursed in our place and in so doing, dissolved the curse from our lives, so that all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon even non-Jewish believers. And now God gives us the promise of the wonderful Holy Spirit who lives within us when we believe in him.”
(2 Peter 1:3 TPT)
“Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.”
(Philippians 4:19 NIV)
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Setting the Stage:
Yesterday, we explored how the Blessing of Abraham was always God’s plan for you. Today, I want to study something else Paul said in this verse. The phrase “so that by faith” reveals God’s divine METHOD. He’s not just telling you WHAT you have; He’s telling you HOW to access it! And here’s what will blow your mind: EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS ALREADY YOURS! IT’S ALREADY BEEN STORED UP FOR YOU!
Think about this: When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t just deal with your sin problem. He didn’t just remove the curse. He DEPOSITED everything you could ever need for success, victory, and the fulfillment of your divine purpose (which is my definition of prosperity) into your spiritual account! You’re not trying to GET blessed; you already ARE blessed! You’re not waiting for God to provide; He ALREADY HAS PROVIDED!
But here’s where religion has deceived so many believers. Religion teaches you to beg God for what He’s already given you. Religion has you crying out for provision when the provision is already IN YOU. Religion has you waiting for a miracle when the miracle is waiting for YOUR FAITH! The truth is: your faith doesn’t move God to provide; your faith accesses what grace has ALREADY PROVIDED!
This is the difference between living under the Law and living under grace. Under the Law, you work to earn. Under grace, you believe to receive. Under the Law, you perform for provision. Under grace, you rest in what’s already been provided. Under Law, it’s about what YOU must do. Under grace, it’s about what JESUS has already done!
So, what does this mean for you today? A few things.
1. Everything You Need Has Already Been Deposited Into Your Account!
Paul says, “so that by faith we might receive” (Gal 3:14 NIV). Notice he didn’t say “so that by faith God might give.” The giving has already happened! The deposit has been made! Grace has already provided EVERYTHING! Your faith is how you access what God, by His grace, has provided!
How this applies to you:
— Your spiritual account is already FULL! Stop acting spiritually broke when God has made you spiritually wealthy! Every blessing, every provision, every answer you need is ALREADY in your account. You’re not waiting on a deposit; you’re learning how to make withdrawals! The spiritual bank of heaven is open 24/7/365, and here is some great news: your balance never decreases! Because God is the source, and His resources are unlimited.
— I told you before, “The provision preceded the problem!” Before you had the need, God had already provided the answer. Before you faced the challenge, grace had already supplied the victory. Before the mountain appeared, faith had already been given to move it! God is never caught off guard by your circumstances! He has already been to your future.
— You have divine sufficiency for EVERYTHING! 2 Peter 1:3 declares that His divine power has given you “all things that pertain to life and godliness.” Not some things. Not most things. ALL THINGS! There’s nothing you need that hasn’t already been provided! Grace left nothing out and held nothing back!
— Your faith is the key that unlocks the vault! The bank is full, but you need the right key. Faith is that key! Every time you release your faith, you’re accessing what grace has stored up. The problem isn’t that the vault is empty; it’s that most believers don’t know how to use their key! Begging won’t unlock the blessings. Crying won’t unlock the blessings. God is looking for your faith! The truth is that if you come to God crying and begging, He will have compassion, but He still requires faith. Hebrews 11:6 teaches us that it is literally impossible to please God without faith.
— Stop praying like a beggar and start praying like an heir! You’re not asking God to do something He hasn’t done. You’re thanking Him for what He’s already done and using your faith to manifest it! This shifts your entire prayer life from petition to position, from begging to believing, from asking to accessing!
— Everything means EVERYTHING! Health is in there. Wisdom is in there. Favor is in there. Protection is in there. Direction is in there. And while many Christians don’t want to admit or address it, wealth is in there, too. If you need it to fulfill God’s purpose for your life, IT’S ALREADY IN YOUR ACCOUNT! What’s your biggest need right now? The answer is already deposited and waiting for your faith!
— The issue isn’t God’s willingness; it’s your believing! God isn’t holding out on you. He’s already given you access to heaven’s treasury! The only limiting factor is how much you can believe to receive. Now, to be clear, God never signed up to give you whatever you want. But everything that aligns with HIS purpose for your life has already been provided. But even then, your faith determines whether or not you will access it before you die. Many Christians are going to get to heaven and then realize that they missed out on God’s best. Not because God was unwilling to provide, but because they were unwilling to believe.
2. Faith Is Your Access Card to What Grace Has Provided!
Paul emphasizes “by faith we might receive.” Faith isn’t about convincing God. Faith is what happens when God convinces you! Faith doesn’t move God to act; faith moves YOU into position to receive what God has already acted upon! Do you see the difference? This changes EVERYTHING!
How this applies to you:
— Your faith doesn’t produce the blessing; it accesses it! The Blessing already exists. The provision is already there. The answer is already available. Faith simply reaches out and takes hold of what grace has already made available. Stop trying to create what God has already provided, and start accessing what’s already yours!
— Faith without grace is frustration; grace without faith is limitation! If you’re trying to use your faith to make God do something, you’ll be frustrated. Many Christians get frustrated becuase they are making a demand on God for something that is not theirs to have (it is not part of their purpose). But when you ask for something in faith, without a doubt, without wavering, and it aligns with God’s purpose, it’s already yours, and it will manifest in the fullness of time.
— Faith requires corresponding action! James said faith without works is dead. Your faith needs legs and feet! When you truly believe something is already yours, you ACT like it’s yours! You don’t sit passively waiting; you actively position yourself to receive! Faith that doesn’t move your feet won’t move mountains!
— Your confession activates your faith! Faith is voice-activated! When you declare what God has already declared about you, you’re not trying to make it true; you’re agreeing with what IS true! Your words of faith access what grace has provided.
— Faith sees what grace has provided before it manifests! Hebrews 11:1 says faith is the evidence of things not seen. Your faith sees the provision before your eyes see it. You’re not hoping it might be there; you KNOW it’s there because God said it’s there! Faith doesn’t wait to see to believe; faith believes first, then sees!
3. The Holy Spirit Will Lead You Into His Best!
Paul reveals that through faith we receive “the promise of the Spirit.” This isn’t just about having God WITH you; it’s about having God IN you! The Holy Spirit is your built-in success system, your internal GPS to destiny.
How this applies to you:
— You have God’s own Spirit living inside you! The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in YOU! The same Spirit that created the universe dwells in YOU! The same Spirit that performs miracles operates through YOU! You’re not trying to get God’s attention; you HAVE God’s presence 24/7!
— The Spirit knows where everything is stored! 1 Corinthians 2:10 says the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. He knows exactly what grace has provided and exactly how to access it. He’s your personal guide to your spiritual inheritance, your divine tour guide through heaven’s warehouse!
— The Spirit empowers you beyond human ability! You’re not limited to natural strength anymore. The Spirit gives you supernatural ability! What’s impossible for man is possible with God, and God lives IN YOU! Every limitation is broken when you operate in the Spirit; impossible becomes I’M-POSSIBLE!
— The Spirit reveals what grace has provided! Jesus said the Spirit would guide you into all truth. He shows you what’s already yours! He opens your eyes to see provision where others see problems. He reveals solutions that already exist in the Spirit realm, making the invisible visible!
— The Holy Spirit energizes your faith! Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing the Word. The Spirit quickens the Word to your spirit, building your faith to access what grace has provided. He’s constantly feeding your faith and starving your doubts!
— The Spirit is your 24/7 advantage! You don’t have visiting hours with God anymore. The Spirit is with you always! In every meeting, every decision, every challenge, you have heaven’s wisdom and power available instantly. You’re never alone and never without resources; heaven’s help desk is always open!
4. You Can Live From a Position of “It’s Already Done!”
When you understand that grace has already provided everything and faith simply accesses it, your entire life shifts from striving to receiving, from working to resting, from trying to trusting! This is the grace life; this is supernatural living!
How this applies to you:
— Stop trying to MAKE it happen and start LETTING it happen! God has already done the work. Your job isn’t to produce the Blessing but to receive it. You’re not the creator; you’re the receiver!
— Your confession changes from “I hope” to “I have!” You don’t hope God will heal you; by His stripes you WERE healed! You don’t hope God will provide; my God HAS supplied all my needs! You don’t hope for breakthrough; in Christ, you ARE more than a conqueror! Present-tense faith accesses present-tense provision!
— Rest becomes your position of power! Hebrews 4 talks about entering God’s rest. When you know it’s already done, you can rest! This isn’t lazy rest; it’s confident rest. It’s the rest of knowing the battle is already won, the provision is already made, the victory is already yours! The most powerful position you can take is the position of rest! The highest form of faith is rest!
— You can encourage others from your overflow! When you are resting in what God already provided, not only will you overflow (internally and externally), but you will discover that God will set up divine appointments for you to minister to others out of your overflow. You will minister peace, wisdom, grace, and even resources, because you will be resting in these things in abundance. When your cup runs OVER, you are in a position TO BE a blessing to others.
That's enough for today.
Declaration of Faith:
Father, I thank You that EVERYTHING I need has already been deposited in my spiritual account!
Before I had the problem, You already had the answer!
Before I faced the challenge, grace had already provided the victory!
I’m not waiting for You to provide; I’m accessing what You’ve already provided!
My faith is the key that unlocks what grace has supplied!
I shift from begging to believing, from petitioning to positioning!
The Holy Spirit in me reveals everything that’s already mine!
He guides me, empowers me, and shows me how to access my inheritance!
I live from the position of “IT’S ALREADY DONE!”
I don’t hope for victory; I HAVE victory in Christ!
Every need is already met according to Your riches in glory!
I rest in the finished work of Jesus, knowing my future is already secure!
I am Living the Grace Life and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!
I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
