Today, we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.

As part of this series, I am teaching a verse-by-verse exposition of the book of Galatians.

Key scriptures for this year:

(2 Corinthians 9:8 TPT)

"Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do."

(Galatians 5:4 TPT)

"If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!"

(Romans 6:14 ERV)

"Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God's grace."

(1 Corinthians 15:10 CEV)

"But God treated me with undeserved grace! He made me what I am, and his grace wasn't wasted. I worked much harder than any of the other apostles, although it was really God's grace at work and not me."

Scripture we will study today:

(Galatians 3:9 TPT)

“And so the blessing of Abraham’s faith is now our blessing through faith!”

(Galatians 3:9 MSG)

“So those now who live by faith are blessed along with Abraham, who lived by faith—this is no new doctrine!”

(Galatians 3:7 NIV)

“Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.”

(Romans 4:16 NIV)

“Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.”

Setting the Stage:

Yesterday, we discovered that we’re not blessed LIKE Abraham; we’re blessed WITH Abraham! We learned that the blessing has been actively flowing for 4,000 years and that we’re co-recipients of THE SAME blessing Abraham received. But today, I want to show you something even deeper about Galatians 3:9 that most believers miss: Your faith doesn’t just give you access to Abraham’s blessing; it makes you part of Abraham’s family!

Paul is making a radical statement here that would have shocked his Jewish audience. He’s saying that faith is the DNA of God’s family. Not natural bloodline, not circumcision, not keeping the Law, but FAITH is what makes you a legitimate heir of Abraham!

Think about the implications: The same faith that made Abraham righteous makes YOU righteous. The same faith that connected Abraham to God connects YOU to God. The same faith that positioned Abraham for blessing positions YOU for blessing! Faith in Jesus connects you to Jesus and to Abraham. Let’s talk about what that means for you.

So, what does this mean for you today? A few things.

1. Faith Bypasses Every Natural Limitation.

Abraham was too old to have children, the Galatians were too Gentile to be included in Jewish promises, and you may feel too “something” to receive the blessing. But faith doesn’t care about your “too“!

How this applies to you:

You’re never too old for God to bless you through faith! Abraham was 100 when Isaac was born. Moses was 80 when he started his ministry. Caleb was 85 when he said, “Give me this mountain!” and took his inheritance. Age is irrelevant when faith is involved!

You’re never too broken for the blessing to work! Moses was a murderer, David was an adulterer who also committed premeditated murder, Jacob was a liar and deceiver, Rahab was a prostitute, Paul was a murderer of Christians, yet faith bypassed their past and released their future. Your brokenness is no match for faith’s power!

You’re never too late to start walking in the blessing! The thief on the cross had hours left to live, yet faith gave him paradise. Some of you think you’ve wasted too much time, but faith can do more in a moment than the Law could do in a lifetime!

You’re never too small or insignificant for the blessing! Gideon was the least in his family, David was the youngest in his family, and he was an overlooked shepherd boy. Mary was an unknown teenage girl. Faith doesn’t check your history; it releases your destiny!

You’re never too unqualified educationally or socially! Peter and John were called “unschooled, ordinary men” (Acts 4:13), yet faith made them world-changers. The blessing doesn’t require degrees, connections, or credentials; it only requires faith!

You’re never “too anything” or “too nothing” for faith to work! Every excuse you have for why the blessing can’t work for you is demolished by faith. Nothing is impossible for him who believes! (Mark 9:23).

2. The Same Faith System That Worked Then Works Now.

Paul emphasizes that we’re blessed “through faith” just as Abraham was blessed “through faith.” The system hasn’t changed! God didn’t have one program for Abraham and a different one for us. It’s the same faith system that’s been operating since the beginning!

How this applies to you:

God hasn’t updated His operating system! He’s still running on Faith 1.0, the same version Abraham used!

— Abraham didn’t have the written Word, the blood of Jesus, or the Holy Spirit living inside him, yet his faith accessed God’s grace. You have ALL of these advantages, plus the same faith system! If Abraham could believe God with less revelation than you have, imagine what God can do through you when you walk and live by faith!

The faith that worked before the Law still works after the Law has been fulfilled! The Law was a 1,500-year interruption in the faith program, not a replacement for it. It’s like we are now back to the original operating system: faith accessing grace!

— When you pray in faith today, you’re using the same spiritual pattern Abraham used when he believed God for a son at 100 years old. The pattern is simple: by grace through faith. However, for you, things are even better. You have the blessing of being IN CHRIST, you are filled with the Holy Spirit, and you have access to the written Word of God. Abraham came before Jesus, he was not filled with the Holy Spirit, nor did he have a Bible to read. So if Abraham could believe God for the impossible with LESS, imagine what YOUR faith can accomplish with MORE! You have every advantage Abraham didn’t have, PLUS the same faith system that worked for him!

Faith doesn’t go out of style or become obsolete. It worked for Abraham 4,000 years ago, for David 3,000 years ago, for Jesus and His disciples 2,000 years ago, and it works for you TODAY! Faith is timeless because it connects you to the Timeless One! God does everything by grace, and we receive everything by faith!

3. The Blessing of Abraham Operates Outside of Time.

When God blessed Abraham, He wasn’t just blessing one man at one moment in history. God, who exists outside of time, was simultaneously blessing every person who would ever believe! Paul reveals that we’re blessed WITH Abraham because in God’s eternal perspective, it’s all happening at once!

How this applies to you:

In God’s dimension, He’s blessing Abraham and blessing you at the exact same moment! We see 4,000 years of separation, but God sees one eternal moment of blessing. You’re not waiting in line for your turn; your blessing was decreed in the same instant as Abraham’s!

— The blessing doesn’t age, expire, or weaken over time. The 4,000-year-old blessing is as fresh and powerful today as the moment God first spoke it! Time doesn’t diminish God’s blessings; if anything, they compound over time (like compounding interest).

Your future is already blessed in God’s reality! While you’re wondering about tomorrow, God has already blessed your tomorrow, next year, and every day of your purpose. The blessing exists outside of time, ready to manifest IN time as you walk by faith!

Stop thinking chronologically about a blessing that exists eternally! The blessing isn’t coming to you; you’re coming into awareness of what’s already been declared over you from outside of time!

The blessing that seemed to start 4,000 years ago has actually existed in God’s heart since before the foundation of the world! Ephesians 1:4 states that He chose us before the creation of the world. The blessing predates time itself! It even takes faith to open your mind to even start to consider the enormity of a blessing that God has spoken over you that is not limited by time or space. However, my prayer is that by faith you will understand.

4. Faith Activates the Blessing in Every Area of Life.

Paul’s radical message in Galatians 3:9 is that faith doesn’t just bless one part of your life; it activates Abraham’s blessing in EVERY area! Rabbi Daniel Lapin teaches about the Five Fs: Family, Faith, Finances, Friendships, and Fitness. The blessing of Abraham through faith touches ALL of these simultaneously! This is why the Jewish people have prospered not just spiritually but in business, education, family, and community!

How this applies to you:

The blessing refuses to stay in a religious box! It flows into your marriage, your business, your health, your relationships, and yes, your bank account! Abraham wasn’t just spiritually blessed; he was materially wealthy. He also had a strong family, influenced nations, and lived a long, healthy life. Since we have the same blessing, the same results are available to us! But we have to believe God for them.

Your faith demolishes the sacred/secular divide! The blessing of Abraham makes your business as sacred as your Bible study! When you’re closing deals, you’re walking in the blessing. When you’re raising children, you’re walking in the blessing. Everything becomes spiritual when you’re operating in faith because God wants to bless every aspect of your life and living.

— Rabbi Lapin warns that you must develop all areas simultaneously! The blessing doesn’t work if you’re spiritually strong but financially broke, or wealthy but with broken relationships. Abraham’s blessing creates balance and excellence in every area. Faith doesn’t let you pick and choose; it blesses the whole person!

The blessing gives you an unfair advantage in the marketplace! While others operate on human wisdom alone, you have access to divine wisdom, supernatural favor, and providential connections. The same blessing that gave Abraham favor with kings gives you favor in boardrooms!

Your Jewish friends understand something many Christians don’t: The blessing of Abraham is meant to make you visibly successful as a testimony to the world! They expect to prosper in business because they understand the blessing includes material success. It’s time you had the same expectation!

— The blessing is for everyone, not just for clergy. I have been around churches where they put an overemphasis on those of us who are called to the five-fold ministry. It’s like people think you have to be a Pastor or a Preacher to walk in the anointing. To be clear, you don’t need to be in ministry to walk in the blessing. Your marketplace ministry is just as valid, and you are just as anointed!

— If God has graced you to own and run a hair salon, or work as an accountant, or have a mechanic shop, or serve as a doctor or lawyer, if you are called to it, then you are anointed for it! You are no less anointed than your Pastor. Your Pastor has a calling, and you have a calling, and he/she is not more anointed, appointed, called, or destined than you! The same blessing available in the pulpit is available in the marketplace, the boardroom, the courtroom, the operating room, and under the hood of a car! The blessing of Abraham doesn’t discriminate between ministry platforms; your workplace IS your ministry, and your business IS your pulpit!

That’s enough for today.

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I know that faith bypasses every natural limitation in my life!

I’m never too old, too broken, too late, too small, or too unqualified for Your blessing to work.

The same faith system that worked for Abraham works for me today.

I have advantages Abraham never had: I’m IN CHRIST, filled with Your Spirit, and have Your written Word.

Your blessing operates outside of time, and my future is already blessed in Your reality.

Faith activates Your blessing in EVERY area of my life: family, finances, friendships, fitness, and faith.

My workplace is my ministry, my business is my pulpit, and I’m just as anointed in the marketplace as anyone in the

pulpit.

The blessing refuses to stay in a religious box; it flows into everything I touch!

I am Living #TheGraceLife and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
