Today, we continue our focus on THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY, as we learn to maintain our posture of faith after God has revealed His plans for our future.

As part of this series, I am teaching a verse-by-verse exposition of the book of Galatians.

Key scriptures for this year:

2 Peter 3:18 GNT“But continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be glory now and forever.”

Luke 10:20 Mirror“It’s time for you to rediscover who you are from Heaven’s perspective.”

1 John 3:10 Mirror“There is a very visible and vast difference between living one’s life from your God identity or from a fallen man’s mindset.”

Proverbs 25:2 NKJV“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”

Jeremiah 29:13 NIV“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Scripture we will study today:

Galatians 5:22 TPT“But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: …faith that prevails…”

Supporting scriptures:

Romans 12:3 NKJV“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”

Hebrews 11:1 NKJV“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

1 John 5:4 NKJV“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Setting the Stage:

Today, we come to the sixth expression of divine love: faith that prevails. I’ve taught extensively on faith throughout this series and across many years of ministry, but there’s something uniquely powerful about seeing faith listed as a fruit of the Spirit. This means faith is not something you muster up through your own willpower. God dealt to every believer THE measure of faith. The Passion Translation calls it “faith that prevails,” meaning it’s a faith that overcomes, conquers, and wins. Remember, faith is what love looks like when it trusts God. You can trust God because you are convinced that He loves you.

So, what does this mean for you today? A few things.

1. God Already Gave You Faith; You Don’t Have to Generate It.

Romans 12:3 says God has dealt to each one THE measure of faith. Not A measure. THE measure. Every born-again believer has been given the same measure of faith. You don’t need more faith; you need to use the faith you already have. Faith is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it gets. But you already have it. Stop asking God for more faith and start exercising what He’s already placed inside of you.

How this applies to you:

— You already have THE measure of faith. Stop begging God for something He’s already given you.

— Faith grows through use, not through wishing. The more you exercise it, the stronger it gets.

— Faith is not about convincing God to do something; it’s about God convincing you that IT’S ALREADY DONE.

— Faith is what happens when God convinces you! When you get fully persuaded by God!

— In THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY, discover that your faith is not deficient; it just needs to be activated.

— Stop comparing your faith to someone else’s. God gave you THE measure; it’s the same faith that moved mountains and parted seas.

— Your faith is sufficient for every challenge you will ever face because it was given to you by a God who knows your future.

— If you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit. You have faith, and now God expects you to use it. He requires you to walk by faith and not by sight. This means you cannot be moved by what you see. You can only be moved by what God said and what God is saying.

2. Faith Sees What Is Not Yet Visible.

Hebrews 11:1 says faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith peers into eternity from time. It sees what doesn’t exist yet in the natural and calls it into being. This is not wishful thinking; this is spiritual vision empowered by the Holy Spirit. When you operate in faith, you make decisions in the present based on what God has shown you about the future.

How this applies to you:

— Faith doesn’t deny reality; it sees a higher reality that hasn’t manifested yet.

— Your natural eyes show you what IS, but your faith shows you what SHALL BE.

— When the doctor’s report says one thing and God’s Word says another, faith sides with God’s Word.

— Faith-filled people make decisions that look foolish to the world because they’re operating on information the world doesn’t have. The world can’t see it. The world can’t touch it. The world can’t taste it. Since the world can’t validate it with their senses, they would say that what we’re doing does not make sense. But remember, God is spiritual not sensual. He expects us to believe what we see in the spirit and to place more importance on the unseen than the seen.

— Faith gives you the confidence to invest in a vision that others can’t see yet. You move forward because God showed you the end from the beginning.

— Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Your faith is proof that something is on the way.

— Don’t let what you see with your natural eyes overrule what God has shown you with your spiritual eyes.

3. Faith That Prevails Overcomes the World.

1 John 5:4 says, “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” Your faith is the victory mechanism. It’s not your education, your connections, your money, or your talent. It’s your FAITH. Faith prevails over every obstacle, every setback, and every enemy attack. The word “prevails” means to conquer, to be victorious, and to come out on top. Your faith doesn’t just survive; it prevails!

How this applies to you:

— Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. You were born to win.

— You are called and commanded to fight the good fight of faith. The good fight of faith is the one where you win.

— Faith doesn’t just help you cope with challenges; it empowers you to conquer them.

— The enemy has no defense against a believer who walks in prevailing faith. He can’t stop what he can’t shake.

— Every obstacle you face is an opportunity for your faith to demonstrate its power.

— In THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY, discover that you are not a victim of your circumstances; you are a victor through faith.

— Say: “GREATER IS COMING FOR ME, and my prevailing faith is the vehicle that will carry me into it.”

— You don’t fight FOR victory; you fight FROM victory. IT’S ALREADY DONE, and your faith is the proof.

4. Faith Is Love Trusting.

Here’s the root again. Faith is what love looks like when it trusts. You can trust God because you know He loves you. You believe His promises because you know His character. You take risks in the Kingdom because you know the One who called you will never abandon you. Faith and love are inseparable. Faith works by love (Gal 5:6).

How this applies to you:

— Here’s what most people get wrong about this: your faith is not strong because you love God with all your heart. Your faith is strong because you are convinced that God loves YOU.

— Think about a child. A child doesn’t trust their parents because the child is so good at loving. The child trusts because they are convinced the parents love them. That’s the dynamic. You trust God because you have a revelation of His love for you, not because of the quality of your love for Him.

— Don’t turn “faith works by love” into a new performance trap. The moment you start thinking, “I need to love better so my faith will work,” you’ve just turned grace back into The Law. The fuel for your faith is not your effort to love; it’s your revelation of being loved.

— When you are convinced that God loves you, you trust Him enough to take risks because you know the One who called you has already prepared the outcome.

— Faith rooted in love doesn’t panic when things go wrong because love says, “God is working all things together for my good.”

— In THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY, discover that faith is not about your ability to believe; it’s about God’s faithfulness to perform.

— Your faith prevails because it’s anchored in a love that never fails.

That’s enough for today.

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I thank You for dealing to me THE measure of faith, and I activate it today!

I declare that my faith prevails over every obstacle, every setback, and every attack of the enemy!

I see what is not yet visible because my faith peers into eternity and calls things that are not as though they are!

IT’S ALREADY DONE in the spiritual realm, and my faith is the bridge between what You’ve completed and what I’ll experience!

My faith is the victory that overcomes the world, and I was born to WIN!

I trust You because I know You love me, and Your love casts out every fear!

Faith is love trusting, and I trust You with everything I am and everything I have!

I am discovering new dimensions of faith in THE YEAR OF DISCOVERY!

I am living from the inside out, and GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
