This morning we get back to our “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God” series. I trust you enjoyed out break last week for Passion Week and that you also enjoyed your Resurrection Sunday celebration. I will never cease to give God praise for what Jesus did for me. My salvation is the most precious gift I have ever received. Okay, that’s enough. If I get to sharing about Jesus I won’t address this proverb. So let’s get to it.

(Luke 11:1 NLT) Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As He finished, one of His disciples came to Him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

(John 5:19 NLT) So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He does only what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”

This morning we continue our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” Friends can be a very special part of your life.

(Prov 26:16 ERV) Lazy people think they are seven times smarter than the people who really have good sense.

(Prov 25:22 NLT) You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the LORD will reward you.

(Prov 25:12 GNB) A warning given by an experienced person to someone willing to listen is more valuable than gold rings or jewelry made of the finest gold.

(Prov 24:19,20 GNB) Don’t let evil people worry you; don’t be envious of them. A wicked person has no future—nothing to look forward to.
