This morning we continue our series, “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by continuing with our new mini-series, “The Purpose of the Cross.” For the last few messages we have been working our way through a passage in 2 Corinthians 3. Let’s pick up where we left off yesterday.

This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by continuing with our mini-series, “The Road to the Resurrection.” In our last message we looked at the pain Jesus endured for you and I told you to live your life worthy of His death.

This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by shifting gears. For the last few weeks we studied “Minimizing Your Humanity and Maximizing Your Divinity.” The Father has given me ‘release’ to end the mini-series within this series and He has also led me to start another mini-series.

This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by continuing to teach on “Minimizing Your Humanity and Maximizing Your Divinity.” Last week I introduced you to what I consider to be the actual “Lord’s prayer.” It is a prayer Jesus prayed in John 17.

(Matthew 8:14,15 NLT) When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, Peter’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for him.

This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing.” In Luke 13 we find Jesus in a synagogue ministering the Word of God. John said Jesus was “full of grace and truth” (1:14). Jesus knew the Word, but so did the Pharisees.

This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing.” We are a few weeks into this series and while I provide a few points of application in every message, this Friday morning I think it is important for us to close out the week thinking about some of the things we have learned thus far.

(John 11:1-3 NIV) Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair. So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”

(Mat 12:13 CEV) Then Jesus told the man, “Hold out your hand.” The man did, and it became as healthy as the other one.

(2 Sam 9:9,10 NLT) Then the king summoned Saul’s servant Ziba and said, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family. You and your sons and servants are to farm the land for him to produce food for your master’s household. But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, will eat here at my table.” (Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.)

Major points I want to make this week: 1. Love is the Rod that holds everything else in place.2. Jesus simplified the message of the Bible down to this: Love God and Love others.3. The Love of God is the foundation for Christian living.

Major points I want to make this week: 1. Jesus is ALIVE! 2. If the Resurrection is not true, we don’t have Christianity. 3. We can GO because He CAME! 4. We can

(Mark 1:35 NIV) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Good morning, this will be the final message I will send out this week. I pray you enjoy your upcoming Christmas Day. Christmas today, especially in the United States, has become so commercialized that it is sometimes CHRIST gets lost in the talk about Santa Claus, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, Ebenezer Scrooge, and the Grinch.

Christmas is so commercialized these days that some have left CHRIST out of it. The countless images of Santa, reindeer, ‘Happy Holidays’ posters, and etc. fail to acknowledge the reason for the season.

(Eph 4:22-24 NIV) You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
