This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing.” We are a few weeks into this series and while I provide a few points of application in every message, this Friday morning I think it is important for us to close out the week thinking about some of the things we have learned thus far.

(John 11:25-28 NIV) Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she told him, “I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.” And after she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. “The Teacher is here,” she said, “and is asking for you.”

(Prov 28:12 NLT) When the godly succeed, everyone is glad. When the wicked take charge, people go into hiding. This morning we continue our “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God” series. Solomon here speaks to the reaction other people have to our success. What do you want that reaction to be? For example, this week my promotion board met and the decision was made on whether or not I will get promoted to Chief Warrant Officer Five.

(Prov 28:8 CEV) If you make money by charging high interest rates, you will lose it all to someone who cares for the poor. Solomon was an astute businessman and a head of state who ran a nation with a multi-billion dollar surplus.

(Prov 28:5 KJV) Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things. This morning we continue our “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God” series. The judgment Solomon speaks of here is the judgment of God, the ways of the Master, the divine truth of the creator. Those who fail to pursue God never get a grasp of His ways and never gain access to His wisdom. Therefore, they loosely stumble through life, never discov

(Gen 15:5,6 NLT) Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith.

(Romans 15:13 NASB) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

(Prov 27:4 NLT) Anger is cruel, and wrath is like a flood, but jealousy is even more dangerous. This morning we continue our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.”

This morning we cotinue our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” I am sure we have all met people who love to argue; who find a level of enjoyment from stating a point, building a case, and attempting to counter every counterargument.

This morning we get back to our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” Solomon hated liars. Time and time again he tells us not to lie, especially not about others.

(Prov 25:16,17 CEV) Eating too much honey can make you sick. Don’t visit friends too often, or they will get tired of it and start hating you.

This morning we get back to our series entitled, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” Solomon tells us something this morning that many of us need to hear, but a good portion of us don’t like to hear and that is about patience.

This morning we continue our series, “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God.” If anyone was qualified to discuss sharing the right word at the right time it was Solomon.

(Prov 24:13,14 GNB) My child, eat honey; it is good. And just as honey from the comb is sweet on your tongue, you may be sure that wisdom is good for the soul. Get wisdom and you have a bright future.
