(Read Romans 7:1-6) This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing.” In our last message we looked at how the Lord, through the power of the Holy Spirit, has equipped, enabled and empowered us to live a righteous life that is pleasing in His sight. In this message, as we continue to walk through Paul’s letter to the church in Rome, the Apostle continues to flow in that same vein. Paul says:

(Read 1 Samuel 19:18-23) This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing.” In each of the past two days we have learned about an attempt king Saul made on David’s life and in each of the attempts one of Saul’s flesh-and-blood children stepped in to save David from their father. This morning we will see another attempt, but this time the Lord Himself will step in to save David.

This morning we continue our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by continuing to look at the life of Moses. Thus far we know he fled to Midain, but let me tell you what happened when he got there.

(Rom 5:1-5 NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

(James 1:2-4 NIV) Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

(2 Tim 4:7 KJV) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. This morning we continue our new series entitled, “Faith and Patience VOL III – Never Give Up!” Yesterday we looked at the life of Joseph.

(Gen 50:20 ESV) As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

(Gal 6:7-9 MSG) Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others — ignoring God! — harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.

This morning we get back to our “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God” series. I trust you enjoyed out break last week for Passion Week and that you also enjoyed your Resurrection Sunday celebration. I will never cease to give God praise for what Jesus did for me. My salvation is the most precious gift I have ever received. Okay, that’s enough. If I get to sharing about Jesus I won’t address this proverb. So let’s get to it.

(1 Cor 14:14,15, 18-20) For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don’t understand what I am saying. Well then, what shall I do?

(Luke 6:43-45 CEV) A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. You can tell what a tree is like by the fruit it produces.

(Romans 10:9,10 KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

This morning we continue our series entitled, “Re-Energizing Your Prayer Life,” by continuing to look at “What to Pray For.” We spent the entire month of January studying purpose and vision.
