(Prov 28:9 WEB) He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. This morning we continue our “Unlocking the Power of Proverbs – Walking in the Wisdom of God” series. Here Solomon makes a statement that should remind us to live right before the Lord. When we fail to receive God’s Word, we are failing to receive Him, His instruction, and His ways.

This morning we continue our series entitled, “Re-Energizing Your Prayer Life.” Last wee we looked at “Hurdles to Answered Prayer.”

(1st John 5:14,15 AMP) And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.

This morning my wife was scheduled for LASIK surgery. Isabella is actually a perioperative nurse, which means that she works in an Operating Room (OR) every day and she assists surgeons with surgery.
